Starting a blog is one of the easiest things to do online. It doesn’t take much money to start one and you are the content builder. The good thing about blogging is that you talk about what you know and are passionate about. These two things put you in a position to never run out of content. Content is what keeps the blog going and the traffic flowing. So how do you build an income let alone multiple streams of income from a single blog?
This is where your skills and content come into play. When you have a lot of traffic coming in from your content this tells you a lot. This means your audience loves your info which means they may be open to learning more and getting more premium content. Here are a few ways to add multiple streams of income to your BANK from your BLOG.
1. Promote Events
Several promoters, club owners, & speakers who host events in cities are always trying to get the buzz around. You hear about them on Facebook, Radio, Ads, and several other places. When you get reports on your traffic and where it’s coming from such as cities and states. You can use this information to leverage in promoting events in an area that you see a lot of traffic from for a fee. Most bloggers charge anywhere from $100 – $500 for the promotion of an event on their blog. This can be for a week, or up to a month including a blog post regarding an event. Then you can also get FREE TICKETS to those events and sometimes get paid additional fees for blogging about it. Lost of money involved when it comes to event promotions.
2. Premium Membership Group
This is something many people are open to joining. If they love your FREE content then they feel your Premium content will BLOW their minds. Let’s say you have a Health Blog and you give great content on different meals for weight loss. Maybe you offer a Premium group for weekly challenges, recipes, live cooking demos, etc. This gives more value and also direct contact to interact with you. Blogging can seem distant in some ways almost like you are the Wizard of Oz. You have all this great content they see pictures of you but not much interaction outside of the comments. Having them apart of your membership group which can be built within your website as a login page. Or in a Facebook group gives them more access to you and helps you build a closer relationship with your premium audience. I am apart of a group I pay $50 a month for and it’s absolutely worth it. Also, I have my own Mastermind Group where I host weekly sessions for $25 a week on different topics.
3. e-Books & Guides
Many bloggers have become best selling authors in a matter of months. When you are writing out content you are basically writing chapters within your blog for a book you could be promoting. THis book can be over anything that is within your content wheel house so to speak. Let’s say your blog daily on Health & Wellness. WIthin your blogs daily you write about Vitamins, Natural Foods, Gluten Free Foods, etc. Maybe you take that content break it down into chapters and write an e-book on that and sell it. I have seen bloggers write 10 blogs on a particular topic and turn those post into an organized e-book and sell thousands of copies. The good thing about e-books is you
The good thing about e-books is you don’t have much overhead and most of your profits are clear outside of transaction fees. you might pay someone on Fiverr $5 – $20 to design an e-book cover, then someone to do some proof reading or formatting for ebook readers. Then you can self-publish your book on several major sites such as Amazon Kindle, Barnes & Noble Nook Reader, and other platforms including your website. Most e-books range from $5 – $15 depending on the amount of content within the book. Imagine selling 1 book over 100 times for $10. Thats $1000 for work you have done only once. The good thing is you can continue to sell that book as long as the content is relevant. The more you grow your audience and build traffic to your site. The more books you can sell which increases profits.
Making money from your blog has never been easier. With as much traffic that is flowing through the internet streets, you are bound to generate new visitors. The main thing is you need to continue to create valuable content. Make sure the information is relevant as easy to read.
