Many people have been trying to find ways to make money online. Some of you have paid for courses, attended webinars, even some live events. The problem is that too many people are trying to do what works for everyone else. It’s not that doing something that someone else is teaching you to do won’t work. The issue isn’t that what other successful online entrepreneurs are teaching doesn’t work. The issue is that it may not work for you.
With my clients, I teach them how to use THIER skills. Your skills are the most valuable thing you have when it comes to starting an online business. Someone is always looking for what YOU have to offer. You just have to make it available to them. When you complain about not being where you want to be or that you feel that you could be doing more. If you look behind you there are 100’s of people trying to get to where you are. Those people are willing to pay you for the information you have to get to that level.
So whats the answer? How do I get into this BILLION DOLLAR INDUSTRY? Well, I am glad you ask. Here are my 5 STARTER steps to building your online business empire
1.Write down your most polished skills that you would be confident in teaching someone or using them to create something for someone.
These skills can be things such as writing, managing others social media accounts, creating graphics for Instagram, and other skills that would tailor to someone that’s not well versed in those areas. Remember that no matter how simple something may be that it’s still a problem for someone and they are willing to pay you to solve it.
2. Identify the Market that would be most interested in those skills.
Let’s take organization for example. Maybe you’re someone that’s highly organized extremely professional in all you do. You may be a great personal assistant to business professionals such as Real Estate Agents, Business Owners, Attorneys, etc. THey may be most interested in your services because you’re someone they can trust to interact with their existing and potential customers but also someone that can keep them on schedule for meetings, flights, and other important things they struggle with keeping up with.
3. Identify what tools you need to run your online business efficiently.
These tools can range from something to invoice your clients. This could be something like Quickbooks to send invoices to your clients, A Website for potential clients to come to, and other tools to better automate your process so that you’re not spending so much time on administrative stuff and more time servicing your clients.
4. Develop a strategy on how to connect and engage your audience.
This is probably one of the most important things on this list. Your strategy is your introduction to your audience. Have you ever heard the term you only get 1 opportunity to make a first impression? This is where a well thought out strategy helps. It gives you the confidence and guidance you need to make your first introduction your best one. Connecting with your audience can be tricky and engaging with them can be tedious. With the right strategy and the best implementation, you decrease your chances of failing before you get started. If you would like to work with me Schedule A FREE Discovery Session to learn more.
5. What should I price my services to be?
When pricing your services there are two mistakes that you can make. You can price your services too high or price them too low. When you price them too low this is where your motivation gets lost. You may obtain several new clients through this tactic but you may give them premium service for generic pricing. Because of this, you may begin to lose motivation in what it is you’re doing because you feel you’re giving so much and barely breaking even. There are several ways to come up with pricing. The most basic way is to figure out How much do you want to make per hour.
Let’s say you want to be an accountability coach. As an accountability coach, you help people by making sure they are sticking to their plans. To do this let’s say you want to make $100 Per Hour. Well, you don’t just charge $100 an hour you have to figure out your time. So let’s say for every client you spend an hour preparing each session for them and another hour in session with them. That’s 2 hours you’ve spent of your time towards that client. So you would need to make sure your sessions $200 Per Session to make sure your getting paid for the time your spending ON that client and not just WITH that client. In addition to this make sure your paying attention to the market to see what your audience is even willing to pay for this service. You have coaches charging anywhere from $25 Per Session up to over $1000 per session. It all depends on the market and your place within it. Can you command the higher ticket prices before they know who you are and how good you are?

Are you willing to pay $400 for a pair of shoes from a designer you have never heard of? Or are you better paying $200 for a pair of Jordans that you are familiar with?
The online market is wide open for people with some of the most unique and diverse skills. It’s also open to those with some of the most common and basic skills that are out there. You just need to find where your skills best fit and plant your seeds and wait for your harvest. Remember that you have customers out there waiting for you to market your products and services. It’s just up to you to give them something to buy from you and reasons why they should. Be patient during this process as it doesn’t happen over night.
